Our newest project was initiated when a volunteer helping distribute backpacks at Reiche School Open House heard a staffer talk about the need for adults to read with the children. Weeks later, the first NCJW volunteers were snuggled up with Reiche K-2 students, reading with the kids once a week or every other week. Volunteers also help students with math.
