In just a couple of months, Eydie Pryzant has taken a suggestion made at Reiche School when we were handing out kindergarten backpacks, and made it a reality. The first volunteers started reading to and with kindergarten through second grade students at Reiche in mid-October. Eydie has assembled a team of seven volunteers and more are welcome to join. It’s a great opportunity to have a very personal impact on a child. A small time commitment (once a week or every other week) will reap huge benefits for students and volunteers alike.
